Biography
Born November 17, 1989, Chris Barnes is a soul/folk Singer/Songwriter from Huntsville Alabama. His styles range from blues to bluegrass and even funk. He began playing piano at age 7 and picked up the drums and guitar as a teenager and began singing in his church choir. It's clear that the influence of artists like Bob Dylan and John Mayer can be heard in his vocals and guitar playing. His songs are soulful and paired with fingerpicking and flatpicking techniques with unique rhythms, melodies and beefy chords. As a teacher, performer and writer, he is a one of a kind artist that continues to evolve.
